VidSip is a free browser-based Pinterest video downloader that lets you save Pinterest videos, images and pins to your device without watermark — without logging into Pinterest, without installing any app. It works directly in Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android, and any desktop browser.
Paste any public Pinterest pin link, and download the video or image in seconds at original quality. No re-encoding, no compression, no daily limits. Completely free.
VidSip supports Pinterest videos, images, and Idea Pins — paste any public pin link and save in seconds.
Pinterest does not embed watermarks into video files — VidSip fetches the raw file from Pinterest CDN giving you a perfectly clean download every time.
Open Pinterest and find the pin. Tap the Share icon then tap Copy Link.
Open Safari — not Chrome. Go to vidsip.com/pinterest-downloader, paste the link, tap Download.
Open Files app then Downloads. Tap the file, tap Share, tap Save Video to move to Camera Roll.
iPhone tip: Use Safari not Chrome. iOS Safari downloads go to Files first — the Save Video step moves it to your Camera Roll.
Open Pinterest, find the pin, tap Share then Copy Link.
Open Chrome and go to vidsip.com/pinterest-downloader. Paste the link and tap Download.
The file saves to your Downloads folder and appears in Gallery automatically. No extra steps.
Testing note: 28 Pinterest video pins tested July 2026 — 25 of 28 downloaded successfully. The 3 that failed were YouTube embeds, not Pinterest-hosted videos.

Most Pinterest download issues have a simple fix. Here are the most common problems.
Pinterest has a Save button but it only saves pins inside the app — not files to your device. Here is why and how VidSip works around it.
Pinterest's Save button saves pins to your boards inside Pinterest — not to your device. Saved pins require an internet connection and a Pinterest account to access. If Pinterest removes a pin or you lose account access, your saved pins are gone. VidSip saves the actual file to your device permanently.
Pinterest's business model depends on keeping users on the platform. Every time you return to view a saved pin, Pinterest shows you ads and collects engagement data. A downloaded image viewed offline generates nothing for Pinterest — so the platform deliberately removed native file saving to keep you returning to the app.
VidSip sends a server-side request to Pinterest's CDN using the pin ID extracted from the link you paste. Pinterest's CDN returns the original media file — the same file it serves to your browser when you view the pin. VidSip delivers this directly to your device at original quality with no processing or quality reduction.
Downloading for personal offline viewing is generally treated as fair use — saving a recipe image, keeping a design reference, or archiving your own pins.
Reuploading someone else's content commercially or distributing it without permission is not permitted. Always credit the original creator when sharing their work.
