What Is VidSip?

VidSip is a free online tool that lets you download videos from the social platforms people share on most — without needing an app, an account, or any technical know-how. Paste a public video link, and VidSip fetches the original file so you can save it directly to your phone or computer.

Why We Built VidSip

Saving a video you have permission to keep — a memory someone shared with you, a clip for reference, content you posted yourself on another platform — shouldn't require installing a sketchy app or handing over your login. VidSip was built to be a straightforward, browser-based alternative: no account required, no app to trust with your data, and no watermark forced onto the file you download.

How VidSip Works

VidSip fetches the original video file directly from the platform's public servers using the link you provide. It doesn't screen-record, doesn't re-encode the file unnecessarily, and doesn't store your downloads once they're delivered to you. Every platform page on VidSip — Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter/X, Pinterest, Snapchat, and ShareChat — works the same simple way: paste a link, get a file.

Our Approach to Privacy

VidSip never asks for your social media login or password for any platform. It only ever needs a public link to the content you want to save. Files are generated on request and not retained on our servers afterward, and using VidSip doesn't create any connection between your account and ours.
